I’m excited about all of it, but especially the Theater as Church option May 13 at 11 AM and the venue. It is small and intimate which is perfect for this play. It’s also housed in this community center where I have a ton of great memories from doing several 24 Hour Plays at Horizon Theater and from rehearsing Richard Etchison’s 22 Miseries of the Lives and Loves of the Heterosexual Buffoon Class. If you know Rich, you know that title is pure Etchison.
It’s the play where I met some lifelong friends and colleagues including Rich (who is now in InViolet), Topher Payne, Nichole Hamilton, Martin Kelly, Rob Franz, Mike Friedman, Hillary Henderson, and Spencer Stephens. An amazing group of people. It’s also the play that convinced me to pursue this career full time – that’s a story for another post.
Bottom line: It’s going to be fun to go back there. Thank you OSA and Fringe. First read through is tonight.
Go Team.
